Busy Fall Day
Today we did our monthly self portraits.
We also tried peeling apples to make homemade applesauce.
And well. You know I teach numbers by gaining interest in the calendar with numbers and letters. Today is national homemade cookie day. We had a large C on the calendar. I am not great at recipes that had 10 ingredients ( especially with littles ) so we pivoted and used a box mix for brownies. But hey! We did discover that brownies starts with b like Brittany.
We also was a story about a group of squirrels having a competition to get an acorn. We ended the story with each girl getting her own squirrel
And we sang and danced to “Little Gray Squirrel”
We had new baby bottles that were a huge hit
It was truly a busy and great day
When we wake up we will try a snack made with our own hands!
