Fridays Just Hit a Little Different
Fridays are sometimes a bit of a struggle , especially the first week of school. Today I 100% bribed some that had a hard time coming I the door with a new bubble machine. 🤷🏻♀️. It worked and we followed through.
We also did out first self portrait today. The older kids really added detail to their drawing. There’s research behind a child’s development and the progress of a self portrait. We save these each month to watch the progression. They are displayed in our room.
Today is our first Friday, which means your first learning story comes home. Learning stories are written by the teacher to the child. Sometimes they’re about special moments, sometimes they’re about memories that are made, and sometimes they’re about learning that is taking place. I hope you enjoy them. Binders are returned on Monday
I am seeing so many friendships beginning with new children and our former students. It truly makes my heart smile.
