This morning I did our last three-year-olds developmental assessment.
That was after we celebrated Sandy‘s fourth birthday. At Bright Beginnings to make sure everyone feels celebrated- handle it all here. We do birthday pancakes for breakfast.
And the child gets a book for their birthday from me!
We read the book “Too Much Glue” as we continue to introduce centers and materials.
And then did we did what you will rarely ever will see… a worksheet that goes along with the book. We practiced making raindrops of glue instead of puddles.
And what fun is that type of activity without covering it in glitter 🤪
And you know Wednesday is cooking day. Since we were having a main dish that many children may not be familiar with ( baked tilapia ) we cooked something together that they all know… Ramen noodles.
Here’s a fun fact! I have not tried Ramen noodles and I can tell you after today. I’m not a fan. 🤪
Before going outside one of our former students came to read for us. That was a real treat!
Outside there was lots of pretend birthday party play!
