What is a Turkey?
This the season when I feel the pressure to send home crafts. It starts at Halloween and runs through Christmas. I lovingly call the craptivities. Alas here we are.
Yesterday we made these cute turkey masks.
We made turkey cupcakes. It looks like a turkey , right ? I would love to give you a narrative but you can imagine , right ?
We even read a story about a turkey to go over colors.
Today we made a peel and stick turkey
It’s cute.
But let’s talk honestly – has your child ever seen a real turkey ? And if they have does it wear a hat and have rainbow colored feathers ?
Yeah. 
However – the kids found ice when we went outside.
Now – this is real age appropriate learning that is relevant. One year I’ll be brave enough not to fall into the craptivities trap.
