Outside Play
I’ll be honest, I did not wanna go outside today. You couple the wet with the cold and it’s almost unbearable. However, we did not buy these muddy suits for nothing. You can tell by the look on Royces face above… That outside time was needed and appreciated today.
So much learning takes place outside that cannot happen inside . If you get a chance check out our live feed from today when the children were transferring the water from the water barrel over to the waterfall and into the mud pit.
So much learning was taking place. There was the obvious science as they transformed water and dirt into mud. But there was also measuring – exploring numbers as Brantley stirred with the yardstick
We did not stay out as long as we normally do. The children were telling me their fingers were cold and their noses were freezing
I did not want to go. But I’m glad we did.
