Spookley
I think I told you last week that my favorite book for this season is called ” Spookley the Square Pumpkin .” Today I read the book again. There was evidence everywhere.
This morning I was in discussion before school on social media concerning what is developmentally appropriate when it comes to children learning to write their names. I still stand by the fact that when they are ready they will write. I like to collect proof of this when it’s floats to the top like this paper from Annalise today.
She decided on her own to get a piece of paper and write these letters. Look closely… It’s almost her name. That was without any guidance for me whatsoever
And then it was also very busy today with visitors. Always good to share things we do with others.
Last but not least – it’s cold. Please help your child start deciding what is appropriate clothing for winter days outside . Socks would be lovely and covered legs with pants or tights. Brrrr today was cold.
