Today we did a little science experiment. What will happen to the yellow and blue liquid ?
We played a little St. Patricks Day BINGO .
Games don’t need to be academic to be educational . In other words, I don’t have to play a BINGO game that features letters or numbers for the game to have educational value. Sometimes it is just fun to sit and play. Children just want to be with you– that is their man goal when playing board games. Just by virtue of playing them, board games can teach important social skills such as expanding vocabulary , sharing, waiting, taking turns, and enjoying communication with others. Games can also foster the ability to focus, and lengthen your child’s attention span by encouraging the completion of an exciting, enjoyable game.
What board games do you have at home that you can enjoy with your child ?
