Farm Fun
Today during small group We explored a new collection I put together for our farm unit. We looked at seeds that a farmer might use to grow plants and vegetables. We used a magnifying glass to look at them up close. Some were big and some were small.
We also played a matching game and read a book called ” The Farm.” The farmer milked the cow . The kids were grossed out that our milk comes from a COW ! WHAT???!!! YUK! How funny ! I wonder where they thought it came from.
Danielle played a farm sounds lotto game in the quiet room today.
We also had a new material in the water table today. They are called florist beads. They start out very small and dry and after adding water they grow and change . The kids loved them.
